Review for Tropic Thunder - Go - Gotta see Downey Jr (August 18, 2008)

The movie started out great. I couldn't think of a better way to start the movie to create the back story. The previews were part of the greatness of the movie. The second greatest part was the cameos. I won't reveal the second one but it a good one. Overall, the movie started out awesome. It slowed a little in the middle but for the most part. Probably as funny as the modern classics (Anchorman, Wedding Crashers, 40 Year Old Virgin)

Review for The Dark Knight: The IMAX Experience - Must Go! - Dark Knight (August 18, 2008)

I tried not to go into the movie with expectations. However, it was absolutely incredible! There's really not much that can be said about Joker that already hasn't been said. It was not TOO long. The movie was amazing. Joker definitely made the movie. It was the most accurate portrayal of the real Joker I have ever seen. And no one has ever made Joker look so cool. Two-Face also looked incredbile. Definitely not for little kids. Two-Face's face is enough to give any kid nightmares. And I loved that the violence was more psychological than gorey. My favorite movie ever so far. To top it off, seeing it in IMAX was great. The first scene of the city looked like I could have fallen right through. Defnitely worth every penny and will be going soon to see it again!

Review for The Dark Knight - Must Go! - The Dark Knight (August 19, 2008)

I saw this movie with my best friend and we absolutely loved it! The cast was great! I loved Heath Ledger he was great for the joker. Kids younger than 12 might think it's a bit scary. It was very violent and dark but it was a really great movie. It made us jump a lot. I think the cast gave it their all and it was worth the money. It was probably the best movie I've seen this year. It was just great and very well casted. It's a must see movie.

    LA Confidential

In the final shoot-out, Officer White advises Detective Exley that he is going under the building by pointing to a square open hole in the floor. The first shot of the hole shows it is clear with nothing blocking it; when White walks over to it there is now a board covering the hole that he has to kick through to break it.

    Two and a Half Men

(Season 3: Episode 1 - "Weekend in Bangkok with Two Olympic Gymnasts"): When Allan falls off the ladder you can see the ladder has been set up so it will fall back safely. As the ladder goes back towards the balcony rail, it hits the railing and bounces up, but the bottom of the ladder, which is unseen, seems to be planted as it does not move during this. In the episode, Allan was climbing up the ladder and it wasn't secured with anything at the bottom, thus the reason for him falling off the ladder.

    The Dark Knight

In the opening shot, there is a long shadow over the roof of the bank building as the camera zooms over and towards the windows in the far building. In the next shots, the shadow is gone as the robbers glide across and land on the roof.

    Walking Tall

In the scene where Hamilton shows up to talk to Chris after he's been attacked, we see Chris unload some wood from his truck, then belt on a tool belt. After belting it on, he pulls his shirt out from under the belt and we see his stomach. There are no scars on his stomach from the earlier attack on him. Later in the courtroom, Chris opens his shirt and we see scars from his collarbone to below his navel.

    Shoot 'Em Up

Smith is attacked by several henchmen in his warehouse apartment. He grabs the baby and jumps on the rollers of a conveyor, sliding across the room and shooting two of the bad guys in front of him while a third runs up behind the conveyor. When Smith gets to the end of the rollers he stops himself, hangs down over the end of the rollers, and shoots the man at the far end of the conveyor in the chest. If you work out the math on the angle he is firing from and the length of the conveyor, it is an impossible shot. The man would have to be at least 27 feet behind the conveyor for the bullet to clear the rollers and hit him in the chest; in reality he was standing much closer.

    Unaccompanied Minors

During the scene where the unaccompanied minors are in the unclaimed baggage room, Charlie finds a tape player in an unclaimed suitcase. He turns it on and starts dancing while holding it. The shot switches to one of the children, and in the next shot, the tape player is still playing, but it is not in Charlie's hand anymore.

    Wall-E

In the life pod scene, a robot puts the plant in the middle of the pod. Just before this Wall-E and Eve peer around to see it doing so. If you look very quickly at Eve's back when the camera pans around, you can see two different textures flick on and off. This must be an animation error.

    Superman

During the Golden Gate Bridge crash sequence, a reversed shot of a life-sized 1972 Trans-Am braking hard is shown. The next shot shows a model car smashing into a model school bus, and the car is suddenly a 1965 Corvette. The fimakers have painted it red & white so it resembles the Trans Am. (Timecode is for Director's Cut)

    Saving Private Ryan

At the end of the movie, in the Omaha Cemetery scene where the old Ryan is reading Captain Miller's marker, the shoreline should be to his left, not his right. This is because all the stones face the same direction and, when reading them, the water would be on the reader's left. Only Miller's stone is facing the opposite direction- note that all the others look blank because we're looking at their backs.

    Goal!

At the beginning, it shows Santiago crossing the border into the U.S. But the U.S. border patrol is on the Mexican side.

Before The Devil Knows You're Dead

Hank is easily convinced by his accomplice to wait in the car while the accomplice does the robbery, but the plan for the robbery includes getting into the safe, which only Hank knew how to do.

    Star Wars: The Clone Wars

During the Battle of Teth, a walker fires at one of the pillars. In the next shot, it hits the very top ledge. Problem is it was actually aiming at the middle, as was the other walker.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie

During the battle against the dinosaur skeleton, you can see a SFX guy in one shot as the creature whips its head around. He is on the left edge of the screen, standing partially in the frame and visible for nearly a full second.

    The Sons of Katie Elder

When the sheriff enters the bar to break up a confrontation between John Elder and Curley, he sends John Elder out of the bar. As Curley starts to follow Elder out, the sheriff tells him to sit down and finish his card game. Elder and Curley were standing facing each other for quite a while before the sheriff came. How would the sheriff know that Curley had been sitting there playing cards?

    Starship Troopers 3: Marauder

The marauder squad are specifically told that the marauder suits are operated by the user's nervous system (hence the scene where their nervous systems are mapped and loaded into the suits), yet when they enter into combat later in the film, they're using joysticks and buttons to operate the marauders.

    Forrest Gump

In the scene where Forrest gets his discharge papers, the sargeant calls him PFC, that is private first class. However, if he had served one tour in Vietnam, he would have been automatically promoted to SP4, that is one rank above PFC. When he is in uniform at the rally in Washington, he is wearing three stripes on his shoulder - that is sargeant, a rank he could not have earned after being discharged.

    Street Kings

When Diskant is chasing Quicks, there is a cigarette behind Quicks' ear that disappears and reappears.

    Hellraiser

When Frank is trying to stab that girl, his switchblade is obviously fake because there is a line on it that the dagger will go into when he hits her with it.

    Mallrats

When Ben Affleck is beating up Brody, he calls him by his real name, Ben.

    Man on the Moon

David Lettermen didn't wear glasses on T.V in the late 80's.

    Ben 10

When the Tennysons drive towards the city's power plant, Grandpa Max is using the left side of the highway instead of the right. Even with a looming nuclear accident, correct traffic habits do play a role, especially on such a narrow highway. Who knows whether one might drive down the road in a hurry and you approach him on his side of the highway?

    The Simpsons

In "Life's a Glitch", Lisa finds out that she has a seat on the spacecraft going to Mars as the proofreader. How though was she not informed of this before going to the rocket? The family only finds out about the rocket after finding Krusty's letter/invitation and the fact that she was on the list there would be no reason why she wouldn't have been informed of this. It was still New Year's Day so if it had been by mail then it would have to arrive before the New Year so as to make the plan work, being as it was a public holiday and no mail would be delivered. Therefore it would have to be delivered personally or someone would need to contact her. There were also many well known celebrities and figures ready to board the rocket. I can't imagine they were all home in time to gather their mail and were all somehow contacted, yet Lisa was simply walking around town and at church and they couldn't find her?

    Stargate SG-1

Season 10 Episode 15: In the scene where Teal'c and his friend are ambushed offworld, he shoots back without first "opening" his staff weapon. After firing back, it is suddenly opened.

    The Prisoner

They search for the location of the Village by using map co-ordinates, which are checked out using a military aircraft. The Village is eventually discovered and found to be on an island somewhere in the Mediterranean sea. Number 6 is ejected from the aircraft back to the Village. However, in the final episode, i.e. 'Fall Out,' the Village is found to be in somewhere in the UK. They escape in a truck and end up traveling to London.

    Emergency!

Season 3, episode 6, 'Snakebite': After Gage gets bitten by the Rattler, when the driver of Tractor 2 begins ascending the cliff, there is a nice close-up as he passes and this young stuntie is most certainly not the older driver seen in this scene. Not to mention the watchless driver suddenly acquires a black watch.

Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams

As Gary and Gerti make it to the beach, Gary says he is going to "zap" the monster in the ocean. When they show him trying to zap the monster, his watch strap is undone, but when it cuts the strap is now secure.

    The Departed

In the adult movie theater scene, DiCaprio's phone vibrates when he recieves a text saying something along the lines of 'ID suspect', and at the top of the phone's screen you can see a music note crossed out, indicating the phone is on silent mode. Then, while following Damon in the alley, his phone rings when he gets the text saying 'make arrest', but you can see that the phone is still on silent mode.

    Quantum Leap

Towards the end of the episode when Sam is being wheeled into the delivery room in labor, there is a mirror above the table. We see Sam's reflection in it when we should see Billie's.

    Friends

When Chandler and Rachel figure out that the chairs were switched they both head over to Joey's apartment. When thet enter the apartment, the new black chair can be seen with tags attached to the top and left side. When the scene cuts to Joey sitting down the tags are all missing from the chair.

    The Producers

After the "fat fat fatty" scene, Franz shoots his way in, starting with three bullets into the door lock. Over the next scene he fires about twelve shots, despite the fact he's firing an 8-shot Luger.
